A DIFFERENT KIND OF NATURE
In plain idiot despair
television breeds its own shallow comedy
…someone pained
by depression and arthritis
lies on an air cooled cot trying to undo
the direction
where the dopey planet goes
…while the TV is still on
and such days begin to darken
until summer turns to snows.
